If I placed a spell that has a 5ft sphere as its range directly between P & S would it hit both? I can't quite tell. >.<

(From the way Sleeps range was explained to me i believe a 5ft sphere AoE should take up 4 spaces, not 1. 20 ft range of Sleep is actually that many feet in every direction. But your Snowballs may have different wording.)

Tundra:

Eider revives Layla then takes some distance leaving himself open for opportunities. He slides off the edge of the glacier.

The Ice Mephit Claws at him, hitting (which? 10) 16(9 disadv.) For 3 slashing and 2 cold. It's ineffective.

The Mephit then turns and blows a breath of frost in a cone catching Layla and Grianne for 4 cold. (Dc 10 Dex Save for half.)
