Grzak reclaims his weapons and feels renewed strength as his hands flex, gripping his old greataxe. Once his collar is removed, he will take in a deep breath and close his eyes as he exhales, relishing in this small act of freedom. He’ll drop the chained collar to the floor, seemingly forgetting he wanted to collar Yeemik. Now his mind turnes to verifying that the cave is secure and to the condition of Sildar.
”Are all hostiles bound, converted, or dead?” He’ll ask to anyone within earshot.
He’ll then turn to Sildar and say, “My name is Grzak. I still owe you a great debt. Your arrival very likely saved me from death. I am at your service.”
If all is secure, he’ll address everyone, “Well, it seems we’re the new rulers of this cave complex. What do we want to do with it?”
He’ll draw the humanoid femur from his belt and examine it while continuing, “Perhaps we can assign stewardship to one of the loyal goblins. This can be the symbol of leadership, the Steward’s Scepter. Of course, they’ll all have to swear to a life of hunting only wildlife and picking berries, no more raids on innocent folk and no more stealing. Nor will they allow themselves to submit to anyone else’s authority. If they ever falter, surely we will find out and return to sweep them away.” Grzak looks around to see if any goblins are paying attention at this last part.
"We are safe now." Kathrine assured him. "The few goblins left are with us, or else had best run away, as this place is no longer going to be safe for them." She says the last in a rather loud voice, making sure any goblins around can hear that they should flee the place if they don't wish to fall in line with the group. She eases Sildar to the floor. "It is fairly late, so we'll likely sleep here, then make our way to town in the morning. I'll have my healing back once we rest, so can deal with any lingering issues once morning comes around."
"Sildar my friend, you seem a little bit worse for wear" Gabriel approaches Katherine and Sildar taking Sildars arm over his shoulder he will help lower him to a better spot for Katherine to work on him. "Seriously it's good to see you."
Yeemik lies hogtied in the dirt on the upper ledge of the cavern.
If no one restrains the feral goblin who was in the lower area, he runs for the exit.
Sildar winces as he’s gently settled on the ground. “Thank you all.” He says, his deep voice clearer but still hoarse. “If you are certain that this den of evil is secure, then I must rest and regain strength. I have questions… but they must wait, as must my answers to any of your questions.”
“Gabriel.” The silver-bearded man smiles. “It gladdens my heart to see you still standing, though you too look bloodied in the good fight.”
The man’s eyes close and he falls into much needed sleep.
Cringer peeks over the top step between levels. “You want Cringer’s help with fire, or food, or tell other nice goblins you save us from Yeemik too? What you do with Yeemik now?” he asks.
"What do you think we should do with him?" Kathrine asks Cringer. "Why don't you get the rest of the loyal goblins and bring them here. We will put it to you goblins as a vote, you decide what to do with him, and that will be that." She glances to her companions with a questioning look, hoping she had not overstepped. "Peace is not all about doing no harm, to have peace sometimes it takes a bit of harshness to make that happen. If this goblin is going to only be trouble, gathering more like-minded goblins, and bringing war to those loyal to us, then letting our friends decide now to do something about that might be the best road to peace in the long run."
Gabriel smiles at Sildar before Sildar passes out saying "It was a good fight to say the least."
Looking at Katherine he continues "We have dealt with Klarg who was the leader. Yemmick might be just as guilty of harming the villagers of Phandalin, if that's the case then he needs to stand trial with the town speaker of Phandalin. These other goblin I feel we should show mercy on, they seem, to not fully understand the error of their ways, and should be allowed to repent."
"I agree to a point." Kathrine replies. "This goblin seems to have been the boss among the goblins of this place, with that bugbear the overall leader. Those goblins, like Cringer, Thinker, and the others, seem to fear this boss goblin, and would like some sort of closure on this part of their experience with him." She glances in the direction Cringer scampered off. "I feel we owe it to them to give them a chance for their own justice here. The townsfolk will likely not be overly concerned about this one gobllin boss, especially as this seems to only be an outpost, not their main lair."
As soon as the pretty lady said go get others, Cringer bobbed his bald head in her direction and scampered off. He found Thinker, Pinky, and the others, quick enough. "Come, got old boss all tied up." He looks to Thinker. "Pretty lady say things, need Thinker there to say what do." he then lead the way back towards the pretty lady and others.
"To be fair we all know they will string him up, let us see what the goblins decide, I reserve the right to continue this debate, I won't allow this goblin to run free and harm others. We should also question him see what he knows." Gabriel looks over to Katherine and in Elvish says "Good watch captain bad watch captain?"
Katherine with her insite would know Gabriel isn't out for blood, and his feeling are coming from his belief in Torm, and Tyr who Torm serves. He values this group, and values Katherine opinion.
“Lady and Masters… Thinker and Pinky are here to talk for the rest of us nice goblins.” He says it proudly, as if he has rehearsed it using proper grammar.
Thinker and Pinky come forth, and cautiously come up the stairs.
“I know you good.” Thinker says to the party members – Pinky cuts him off, saying “What you promise, for baby, for safety?” She glares at all of the party members in turn. “What you do to keep this… Yeemik away from us?”
Cringer has followed up the stairs and seems to want to speak, but then just sighs.
(OOC, Katherine can take over Cringer after this matter inside the goblin the cave is settled. Does that sound fair? I think so because it's a conflict of interest before then lol.)
You are in a battle. Your battle cry is deafening you as you hack through your enemies, your adrenaline forcing muscles that should have given in long ago to keep going. Then the battlefield is silent. Dead bodies are all around you. For a moment you feel intense sadness. All of those people, friends or foes, had families, had lives cut short.
A shadow falls over you. You look up and there is some kind of flying thing that crosses back and forth over the sun. Trying to look at it blinds you.
Then there is a voice.
“For all that you have suffered, and for your faith and discipline – I gift you this.”
This voice is echoing in Grzak’s mind and then there is exquisite pain.
In the dying firelight of pre-dawn, the half-orc awakens and grits his teeth silently as lines of black ink magically carve into his right forearm.
Cringer approaches Katherine. "Lady, I made this for you. Well, I found most. I kept hidden. I put these things found on bracelet for you."
The little goblin looks up at the cleric and hands her a charm bracelet. The silver charms dangling from it are: a heart, hands together in prayer, a holy symbol, a pretzel, and a mobius strip. There is one larger darker ghostly charm in gunmetal.

"Ok Lady. Now or after you rest?"

Would you like to interrogate Yeemik before your nice restful sleep?

Sounds good.
