The half-orc will grab his chain close to the bolt that is securing it to the floor. He will momentarily close his eyes and call upon Helm to aid him. Perhaps now he will, now that there are others to protect. And with a mighty heave and straining with all his strength, he will try to rip the bolt from the floor.
Alarion breathes a sigh of relief as his mist-armor deflects a particularly viscous attack. He whips out his slender dagger and thrusts at the wolf who attacked him.

Kathrine barely deflects the initial attack from the wolf. She then grits her teeth, then takes aim and shoots.
Attack: 7 Damage: 9 Add 3 to the attack roll from emboldening bond. Can't recall who else I have as a part of the bond, but they also can add 1d4 to one attack, save or ability check each turn.

When it is Gabriel's turn he will drop his torch drawing his longsword, and swining at the wolf attacking Alarion, while hopefully continuing to fend off the wolf attackong me with my shield.
(If Gabriel is holding a torch in his off-hand he doesn’t have the +2 to AC his shield would provide. There is no other light source in the cave, only his torch.)
A roar builds from the figure in the back of the cave followed by the sound of rending metal.
The half-orc has pulled the anchor bolt free. The metal collar and chain remain attached… giving him a second potential weapon besides the long femur (club) he pulled from the refuse. (The chain hanging from his neck is only 5' long, 1d4 damage, no modifiers if used in off-hand)
Cail rushes in to see the situation. He’s behind the front 3, near Rowan. Initiative 7
Alarion thrusts at his attacker but the wolf leaps to the side.
(OOC @Katherine, you're right about emboldening bond but I can't seem to find the post to figure out how long it's been since you cast it, can you pull it up?
In the meantime I did find:
Gabriel will enter the cave mouth, shield at the ready long sword sheathed, and a torch in his right hand.
Gabriel's action this turn is to drop the torch and unsheathe his sword - the wolf's teeth clash angrily against the metal of his shield. If it had broken through his defense, he might have been bowled over from the force.
Nonetheless, his cry of "Leave mine for last!" is heard by all.
The torch still gives light, tossed to the stone floor
A deadly arrow thunks and stays in the rock wall inches away from the raging half-orc who has just broken free of his chains.
The arrow quivers as the hulking creature moves forward, a large bone raised in one hand, the other hand pulling a chain up. A chain that is attached to a collar around his neck, matching the collars and chains of the wolves
(Sorry everyone for polluting the campaign dice roller. I had no idea it was recording my rolling. I was bored. Please forgive me.)

(OOC: no worries man, kinda fun useing the dice roller.)
The 3 hangry wolves have pulled loose from the bolts chaining them in the center of this dark cave.
One attacks each of the leaders of the group... they are aware of the stealthy figure behind the front lines but go for the closest targets.
Initiative rolls:
Wolves 19
Mysterious half-orc 13
Alarion 12
Rowan 12
Gabriel 6
Katherine 3
attack on Gabriel: Attack: 10 Damage: 9
attack on Alarion: 7 Damage: 7
attack on Katherine: 20 Damage: 6
The wolves would normally have advantage on attack due to pack tactics but the collars and chains that drag around their feet make that difficult..

Bonus: RAGE
Strength check with advantage due to rage: 17

"Leave mine for last!" Gabriel will try and be heard over the barking and growling.

Alarion thrusts at his attacker but the wolf leaps to the side.
Rowan's arrow zings past the front line - a wolf howls in pain, staggering but still standing.
(Rowan can choose which wolf, or I'll randomly roll before beginning of next turn)

(OOC @Cail, I gather was that taking -5 attack for plus 10 damage?)
*Yes. I've been getting good enough attack rolls so far that I've usually hit with +2.*

Cail's expertise aims for the jugular.
At the last moment the wolf dives. Grey wolf hair has been shaved as close as a blade.

(@Cail so close and worth the gamble!)
