Zephyra quickly tries to reduce the effects of the wind by bracing her movement with her quarterstaff but finds no purchase loosing Dragon to find her own balance lest she hurt the creature in her tumbles. Quickly trying to right herself and face the squirrels.
Ufeza is about to ask Thariv what he said when he gasps as he is struck by a sudden gust of wind, quickly bending his legs and shifting his weight to resist getting blown away as the squirrels crawling on him took flight on by one. As he turns to give Thariv a smile and a thumbs up he notices Luther and Zephyra tumbling along the ground with the squirrels, and he grits his teeth and prepares to help them out.

Luther recovers himself as Thariv drops the wind storm, admiring the inventiveness that his friend tends to show in combat. He decides to try a different approach, drawing his rapier and picking as many of the rodents off of Blossom as he can (verrrry delicately)
Zephyra rushes forward towards Blossom and continues trying to knock the squirrels off of him with her quarterstaff saving her wild shaping abilities for later encounters.
Seeing his companions begin to crowd clump together, Ufeza moves off to the side to spread out. He then resumes his mocking at the annoying little rodents, channeling magical energy into them hoping to help keep them from doing too much damage to his friends.

Looking upon the wind-strewn forest, Thariv feels a bit of a rush at the discovery of a new power imbued into him by the mysterious ocean dwelling thing he has taken as a patron. He feels a surge of power well up in him and sends another bolt of pure force into the damnable squirrels.
Zephyra, relieved at finding an end to the unusual battle, surveys the area to see if anything else was attracted by the battle sounds. As she does this, she glances to each of the party to confirm none were injured. "Everyone ok? Those little beasts are quite formidable when they put their minds to it. We should move on quickly."
Thariv shakes his head as the squirrels finally back off. "I revise my earlier statement,"he says. "Those little forest rats are far worse than seagulls."
He looks to the others. "My apologies for buffetting you with that sea wind," he says. "I'm still figuring this stuff out."
Ufeza finds a few minor scratches on his leathers,, but no broken skin. "I'm alright, Zephyra. What they had in numbers thankfully they lacked in ferociousness. Thariv, you did very well." he says, smiling.
Phyra nods glancing at Ufeza's leathers, "I can mend those defects later at our next camp should you wish, smooth it out a bit." Then at the bodies of the squirrels left on the ground. "Local predators will make short work of these, we shouldn't be here when they come to claim them." She says striding forward with the group towards their destination.
(Zephyra - name is bugging the heck out of me so without changing it, I'm shortening. Pronouncing as Fee-ra)
Luther combs his hair roughly with his fingers, then pats Thariv on the shoulder: "Don't beat yourself up Thariv, you tried something. It could have turned the fight, and we took no casualties while you learned about your new power. That's a win"
Checking his weapons and kit, Luther glances down the track in their original direction of travel. "Shall we carry on?"
Zephyra nods, continuing with the group. Keeping alert above as well as about them catching Dragon up in her arms and setting her on a flat spot at the top of her pack to ride along in the pooled fabric of her hood.
Back to Zephyra - didn't sound any better after living with it for a day.

Thariv grimaces as his comrades are blown on the wind. He immediately ceases the spell so everyone can get their bearings.

The remaining squirrels are on Blossom, I amended the previous post. Sorry for the confusion. Zephyra can reach them safely.

Between both magical attacks, the few remaining squirrels turn and flee into the forest. Everything goes quiet as the combat ends.

"I agree, we should move quickly."
Blossom growls at the squirrels as he's finally left alone. "That was... unpleasant."
