Eljhara made sure to polish his armor when he woke up, and now, it is shining as brightly as the sun. As he tries to sneak in, it clanks loudly. What will you do now?

Eljhara is going to take time and remove the noisiest parts of his armor.
You (everyone) have been spotted already. You can try to run, stay and fight, or bluff your way out. (Or something else I didn't think of. You're the players.)
*I just realized that Moonlit can cast pass without trace. Because I forgot it, so did Moonlit, but if you can escape, you can try again, with a +10 bonus. (Of course there will be higher security after the alarm is raised.)*

I'm going to make it a group check(More than half have to beat the DC). Eljhara's nat 1 means two failures. If Zag, Yoj, and Tom File all make it, then you are undetected, as someone can cover for you.

Ok then, run the chase! (Two characters down means you have no chance of reaching the majority.)
*should we look for more players? perhaps after this story beat.*

Complications occur randomly. Each participant in the chase rolls a d20 at the end of its turn. Consult the appropriate table to determine whether a complication occurs. If it does, it affects the next chase participant in the initiative order, not the participant who rolled the die. The participant who rolled the die or the participant affected by the complication can spend inspiration to negate the complication.
Underdark chase table
1: A ten foot cube of webs blocks your path. This web-filled area is difficult terrain. Make a DC 15 dexterity save to avoid entering the webs. A creature entering a webbed area for the first time on a turn or starting its turn there must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or become restrained by the webs. A restrained creature can use its action to try to escape, doing so with a successful DC 12 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. The 10-foot cube of giant webs has AC 10, 15 hit points, vulnerability to fire, and immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and psychic damage.
2: You are forced to make a sharp turn to avoid colliding with something impassable. Make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw to navigate the turn. On a failed save, you collide with something hard and take 1d4 bludgeoning damage.
3: Uneven ground threatens to slow your progress. Make a DC 10 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to navigate the area. On a failed check, the ground counts as 10 feet of difficult terrain.
4: Make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, you are blinded by a cloud of spores until the end of your turn. While blinded in this way, your speed is halved.
5: A sudden drop catches you by surprise. Make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw to navigate the impediment. On a failed save, you fall 1d4 × 5 feet, taking 1d6 bludgeoning damage per 10 feet fallen as normal, and land prone.
6: A creature indigenous to the area chases after you. The DM chooses a creature appropriate for the terrain.
7: Overgrown mushrooms block progress and must be hacked down. The barrier has an AC of 5, and 27 hp. Alternately, you can squeeze past them with a successful DC 10 acrobatics check, with advantage if you are small or smaller.
8: The tunnel you are running down ends in a dead end. Running down this tunnel, and then back, costs 2d4 x 5 feet of extra movement.
9: An underground river blocks your path. Make a DC 10 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check (your choice) to cross the impediment. On a failed check, the impediment counts as 10 feet of difficult terrain, unless you have a swimming speed.
10: You run past 1d4 violet fungi, which make rotting touch opportunity attacks as you pass by them. (+2 to hit, 1d8 necrotic damage on a hit)
11-20: no complication
