With one hand covering her mouth and nose, Clara pokes the body with her sword and inspect it (Investigation: 10). She whispers to the others "This is disgusting, unnatural. I don't think we'll find any friendly soul down here"
Leshanna glances grimly to the body. "Seems like we are likely on the right track at least..." She comments. Moving to the new passage she nods to it. "I'd say this is the correct direction." She sends her owl gliding down that passage, scouting the path ahead.
The owl flies into the next room. Three wooden beams brace the ceiling of this flooded chamber, which features a stone altar covered with entrails in the northeast corner. Hanging on the wall above the altar is a three-foot-tall steel mask cast in the form of a frowning human skull.
"Yep, seems we are definitely going the right way." Leshanna says, telling the others what the owl saw. She has the owl wait there, and moves to join it. Once there she will use detect magic as a ritual, to see if anything in the area is magical.

Briar stares at the entrails in horror. "Do you think those are human?" she whispers to the others. As she looks back at them, she is reminded that not everyone is human, and hastily adds "Or some other intelligent being." She then goes over to the remains. Humanoid or not, they deserve better than being sacrificed to gods of evil. She says a prayer over the remains. She then looks up at the skull to see if she can recognize it from her lessons.
"Anything?" Leshanna asks as she looks to the others. "Nothing is magical." She adds in, her own work having come up with nothing. "Looks like a passage continues, then turns left, shall we continue?" In preparation for doing so she sends her owl in that direction, around the corner and down the left passage.
Briar inspects the face and compares it against the depections in the religious texts she studied. This is most certainly a depiction of Bhaal, the god of murder. She remembers Bhaal is part of the trio often called "the dead three" consisting of Bhaal, Lord of murder (CE), Bane, Lord of tyranny (LE) and Myrkul, the Lord of bones (NE). Legends claim they were power hungry adventurers once, who ascended to minor deities by making a deal with the former deity of death which they replaced.
Lokat inspects the altar. It is a non-ornate altar of limestone. It is not anchored to the floor, but made out of massive stone, making it hard to move. There is nothing really special about it. Although it seems to be not as worn by time as the dungeon walls. You would age it around 5 to 10 years old.
You go ahead to the alcove. The back wall of this dry alcove is hung with a 5-foot-wide, 7-foot-tall tapestry. It depicts a grisly scene of four faceless figures ripping apart a fifth figure, who is screaming. Around the corner a flight of stairs leads up 3 feet, outside of the murky water, down a short corridor into a small room.
Lokat is allowing his allies observe the rooms, Lokat was wise, but not the brightest one, and these three he was with seemed fairly smart. He would instead look around for enemies.
Everything here so far lay in darkness and the next room is no exception. This chamber is empty but not bereft of decor. Carved into each of its three doors is a full-figure depiction of one of the Dead Three. Briar can identify the carvings with her previous religion check.
East Door. The face of this door bears a carving of Bane, the lawful evil god of tyranny, who is depicted as a tall, armored man wearing a bucket helm. His right gauntlet is painted black and clutches a set of shackles.
North Door. This door bears a carving of Bhaal, the chaotic evil god of murder. He’s depicted as a powerfully built, skull-headed man with long, curved blades where his hands should be.
South Door. This door bears a carving of Myrkul, the neutral evil Lord of Bones. He is portrayed as a cloaked figure whose face is hidden under a cowl. In his skeletal hands, he clutches a screaming human skull.
"Doors ahead." Leshanna says with a look to the others. "Got some strange, and worrisome, figures carved into the doors." She leads the way onwards to the three doors.
"Those are the dead three," Briar whispers. She quickly shares all she knows about them with the others. "It seems likely that we'll find the cultists behind these doors, but which door should we go through?" She looks over the carvings again and shudders.

Clara inspects the body. She finds out that a sharp object penetrated the mans back. He now suffers from a common medical condition called "death".

Lokat grumbles as he shuffles in the water. "And I just bathed..." He'd wait until the others make a move forward, axes at the ready.

The detect magic does not reveal any magic in the area. Also a corridor leads 10 feet south to an alcove in the corner of a left turn.

Lokat would just keep quiet, observing the stone alter and trying to determine the history of this alter...

She steps closer to the doors "Maybe some are trapped?" (Investigation: 14)
