"What the nine hells?!?" Maurice shouts as the bolt slams into him. "You'll pay for that defiler!"

"I've been called worse!" she calls back out.

Morrigan steps up and readies her weapon, "Release the girl and you may make it out of here alive." If the man doesn't stop chanting, Morrigan rushes towards him, her staff swirling with black necrotic energy. She brings it down on him and a bit of the blackness attaches to him (booming blade, if he moves he takes 7 thunder) Attack: 14 Damage: 5

Tarak charges in with an inarticulate scream bursting from his mouth!   He charges straight at the Dark Traveller and swings his double-bladed broad axe horizontally, trying to cut the man in half.

Attack: 11 Damage: 8

THWACK! Morrigan's staff slams into the Dark Traveler, who continues to chant, almost absent-mindedly. 
With too much pent-up VENGEANCE! Tarak misses.

The Dark Traveler retaliates against Morrigan, reaching his hand forth as black energy swells around it, he attempts to touch her. 
Attack: 22 Damage: 6

Maurice looks to make good on his threat, moving forward to attack Camilla. "I'm not a big fan of witty banter in battle, lady," he snarls. "I prefer to just kill people." He swings his club at her and then repositions to take a swipe at Markus as well. 
At Camilla Attack: 15 Damage: 3
At Markus Attack: 7 Damage: 5

The club pounds down on Camilla, who barks in pain and tries to roll away from Maurice. "Duly noted!" she calls out. 

Markus rages and then swings at the Dark Traveler with one of his axes!

Zook casts acid splash on Maurice and Co. 

Blop Plop Sizzle: 1

Sydril sees Markus and Camilla take a bashing from Maurice and takes aim.  "Hey, Maurice!"  She yells just before releasing her arrow.

Sydril's arrow thuds into Maurice, who grimaces and turns his focus her way.

Camilla scrambled out of the way, spending a sorcerous pointus to regain a spellicus sloticus. 

"Form of...!" she called out. "...a surgical healing procedure!"

She whips out her virtual medical tools and begins "suturing" and "stitching" her wounds, healing for 5 HP.

She turned to Maurice once more, ready to lob another firebolt and swear.

"You are mine!" Tarak growls at the Dark Traveller, trying to gain his attention.

Attack: 24 Damage: 8

Markus will attack the Dark Traveler with both his axes this time.

Tarak's vengeance impatiently awaits a strike.
Markus, though, finds purchase, cleaving a chunk from the Dark Traveler's shoulder, however, it doesn't halt the black-clad man from his ongoing chant.

After taking the hit from Markus, The Dark Traveler turns his attention that way, raising a hand toward the barbarian and uttering some arcane words to cast hold person.

Maurice swipes at Camilla before rushing toward Sydril for a swipe.

"WHOOP!" Camilla says, sidestepping out of the way.

"Oh no you don't" Sydril says as she dodges the blow, drops her bow and pulls her rapier.
