The Ruined Tower of the Tempest Mage

Camilla looks down at Poopy. Poopy makes a face that says: Really, dude? What did we just discuss??

“Hmmm..,most disturbing in deed.  There is a low probability of this working but it’s worth giving it a shot...”

He casts dispel magic at level 3. 

Tarak grasps his axe, ready to fight if something unexpected comes through or happens with that door.

Zook utters his arcane words and attempts to dispel the magic of the door.

Make an ability check using your spell casting ability and then roll a d6. 

Markus has both his axes out, waiting for the door to open 

Morrigan stands beside Zook, reading her own spell should his fail. Chuckling she looks about the group, "Here is to another successful foray. May all the names added to my book be of evil and let my lord not read our names for a good many years yet!"

"Where there is unity there is always victory."  Sydril quotes in answer to Morrigan and has her bow ready.

As Poopy and Camilla inspect the odd door, they determine there is likely at least six different traps, some of arcane nature while some not. Camilla notices a pattern on one of the clockwork pieces, tracing her finger along it, she flicks a few clockwork levers...disarming a trap that seemed it would spew acid. 

One trap down!

"YYYYYES!" Camilla high fives Poopy, nearly knocking him over. "One trap disarrrrrmed." she trilled the second syllable. 

Seeing that there was more than one trap, Morrigan began to channel her own dispel magic, "Fall before a god of knowledge. Your magics have no hold on me!" 10 Dispel Magic check

Morrigan lets loose her spell and watches as it locks in on one aspect of the clockwork door, briefly illuminating that area of the door before fading away. As it does, Morrigan (only) recoils as she sees untold horrors begin spewing out from that area of the door, coming with their undead, clawed hands toward her.

Need a DC12 WIS save. If you fail, roll a d6.

As the others watch Morrigan complete her spell, she suddenly recoils from the door, swatting at seemingly nothing as she begins screaming and running about the space like something is trying to grab her. It would be comical if she wasn't so loud and literally bouncing off the walls.

Morrigan suffers the effects of a fear for 10 minutes.

Zook's spell seems to take hold, though, dispelling another trap and getting rid of the fear affecting Morrigan. 

Two traps down!

Tarak paces some more, feeling quite inadequate as he seems to have nothing to offer the group.  Why isn't there something to hit?  There should be something to hit...

Sydril stands to the side, softly singing in elvish as she waits.  Looking a little closer at one of the traps she realizes it looks similar to one she had seen previously.  

"Nothing ventured nothing gained."  She says and gives the trap a shot.

Dex check disarm trap:  14

Sydril begins working on one of the contraptions, moving one lever and then another. Click. Click. Two tumblers fall into place with ease. One to go, but it sticks a little bit and then suddenly jerks into a spot. As it does, a column of fire bursts forth in a 20-foot radius from the door!

Need DC 12 DEX checks or 11 fire damage. Half with save!
