As Zook focuses on the door, sending his unseen servant towards it, he notices the door opposite the entrance has two hard to see grey symbols floating upon it, slowly moving clockwise. One symbol is a clockwork gear with a bottle inside it and the other is a skull wearing a crown.
DC15 Religion Check for anyone wanting to try to determine the symbol.

Morrigan mutters a string of curses under her breath, "Jergal is not gonna be happy about this guy." Hefting her snake like staff she strides towards the door and throws it open.
Happy that all the strangeness is done, Tarak now moves up. "I'll go through first," he says once he is sure there are no exploding runes or fireballs to worry about.
As Tarak approaches the door initially, it seems shut. There is no handle. No way to push it. Just stuck shut. As Zook goes through his rather long-winded discussion of the symbol on the door, the two symbols on the door begin to move in a circular motion when he mentions Velsharoon's name. As the clockwork symbol reaches the zenith of its path on the gray door, the room rumbles and shakes, causing some light dust and debris to fall from the ceiling above. The walls echo a grinding noise, and the gray door jerks upwards, a clinking sound echoing as it moves up a foot at a time, as if a gear was controlling its ascent. After a few seconds, a 10-foot wide brass staircase is revealed, descending downwards to a metal chamber.

Tarak will bravely take his spot at the front of the party, happy to be able to do something. At last, progress. I wonder what will be found down in this strange place. He proceeds to descend the staircase, happy to move down alongside someone else (Markus?) if wanted or take point alone.
Descending the metallic stairwell 30 feet from the chamber above, you come to a circular chamber with a diameter 80 feet across. Eight brass clockwork doors like the one above are spaced evenly among the curved outer wall and a pillar stand floor to ceiling in between each doorway. In the center of the chamber, standing 20 feet tall from floor to ceiling, a square pillar made of clockworks stands with its parts moving in perfect harmony. A large central dial is in the center of each of the four sides, ticking downwards at an even pace. Beyond the column, on the floor opposite the stairwell into the chamber, a large brass vault door is embedded on the floor with a large clockwork gear in its center and numerous other gears and clockwork mechanisms upon it. Lastly, a dozen desiccated corpses randomly litter the floor of this chamber, signs that this place has not seen a visitor in perhaps a long, long time...

Zook will investigate the room looking for some connection from the large clock in the middle to the 8 doors as well as what those other circles on the ground in the room are.
Tarak paces the hall nervously, his greataxe always in hand. He's careful not to touch anything, knowing that he's not well skilled in that area of exploration. This place is very, very strange. He is happy to wander all over this circular chamber, just rather than standing still.
As Zook moves forward to investigate the room, cogs and wheels on the columns shift a bit, making clicks and whirs as they spring into action. At that point, four of the bodies strewn about the room slowly rise, letting out raspy screeches, as from two of the other bodies, ethereal spirits arise letting out silent screams of their own. It appears that not all that died in this room have remained that way.

Sydril tries to stifle a giggle. She smiles and quotes:
"As nectar fills the flower,
giving sustenance to the bee,
I need you every hour,
to give your love to me."
"Aw!" Camilla coos. "That's beautiful! Right, Poopy?"
PHHT!
She hands Marcus the sword.

Sydril squints at the symbols on the door. She's pretty sure the symbol has nothing to do with anything in this place.
