Gara will spend most of the evening and as much of the night as necessary to make a semi permanent set of Sending Stones. He will buy materials from the quartermaster as needed.

Serit steps forward after the decent rest he had. He is chewing on a morning ration, "One of you scout ahead. The rest of you follow me. I want to see this tunnel complex I heard one of the outposts created." Once someone started forward he would take the lead if the group in roughly the right direction, though it would become evident he does not have much skill with a map and/or directions.
Ok, so we start with the outpost at the base of the mountains and then work our way up. And while Gara himself would stay somewhere in the middle, he would send Efeu (his little iron scrub golem) ahead to scout the way. Efeu would be equipped with a few infused stones that can be used to alarm the group of dangers.
The firbolg keeps alert, after all they are advancing on an allied position that doesn't know they're allies. And the forest can be dangerous in its own right.
You proceed towards the tunnel outpost without issues. The trail you follow is realively quiet, though you see signs of various wild beasts roaming the mountains. Towards the evning you need to decide if you want to camp in some cave, forest or make a camp in a more open area, or just try to power though and march all night.
(OOC: Gara, just was your question earlier. You are all considered equivalent to regular soldiers in rank, with whoever your leader is considered equivalent to a squad leader legionary).
"Let's find a place to camp." Nasaar says as night starts to deepen around them. "We aint no legion squad, marching through the night to fall on our enemies blade for the good of the legion."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I think we would look for cover somewhere near by. If both locations are equally easy to reach, then forest will do. Efeu perception for the night: 8 (Darkvision up to 60 and can not be surprised, immunity to exhaustion)
"They are not fully our men though, are they?", the centurion responds. "This is the problem that you said you want to solve".
How long would it take me to create a pair of permanent Sending Stones?

As per the ooc thread, materials cost 50 gold.
You rest for the night (I'm assuming barracks or campfire unless you want to get better lodgings). Fully rested, you can set out in the morning.
When the party exits the fort in the morning, they find the firbolg waiting for them, flanked by a large black mastiff.

Where and how do you want to march?

(what is our rank at the moment?)
The firbolg would tag along with the others in whatever direction whoever seems to be in charge decides, sending the mastiff a bit ahead of the party.

Ok, need 2 survival rolls and 1 stealth roll from the party
Survival: 19

"Agreed, we should camp probably in the forest. Find some trees for cover."
Gruntor grunts in reply to Nasaar. "Rest now..." He will volunteer to take middle watch.

You are awoken at night by Gara's metallic shrub. It seems very agitated by something.
