"The centurion is in the headquarters. You cannot miss, it it's down the main tunnel."
Gara, as far as you can see, there's a couple of guards injured, but not seriously. It does not look particularly suspicious or dangerous.
Serit, walking down the street, you notice that the oupost has more kobolds than the main fort, though this can be excpeted, given the need for tunnel work.
“Because war is coming. We were send here as temporary support unit, to get your outposts up to speed. We have intel that indicates a large scale invasion of human zealouts from the south. To make the legions able to withstand this attack and to avoid a fight on several fronts later, we were sent out to help you with existing problems while there is still time to prepare.” Gara reports.
"Hah! Who said we have problems? Our outpost is a bulwark agaist these humans, they can try coming in their thousands against us."
The kobold taps his shoulder and continues
"However, we have seen an increase in human scouts in the last months. And some monsters from the mountain depths have started attacking our lower levels. So the talk of war may be correct"
Serit stands beside Gara, "See, your boasting is not needed. While these tunnels are a good bastion your attentions can be on preparing. Tell us, which area requires more attention? These pink scouts or the fears in the dark?"
The potential threat to our tunnel network is the bigger issue than some scouts outside. If you deal with this problem, your merits to the whole legion will certaily be acknowldged.
"In the past month, there has been an increase of cave fishers. We needed to increase partols and limit usage of some of the lower tunnels, which puts stain on our limited resources. Not only that, but these vermin are very agressive, and do not treat as most beasts do."
The firbolg has his giant boar wait outside, and follows the others in.

“Where can we find the centurion if i may ask?” Gara politely asks the guard.
While he addresses the guard he takes a closser look at him if there are any signs of injuries or stress or distress. (Insight 10)

He looks for the hobgoblin in charge.

Nasaar walks along with the group, keeping his head down and trying to watch everywhere at once. It makes him look fairly comical as he moves along.
You arrive to the headquarters, a large fortifiied stone building within the tunnel network. A hobgoblin and a kobold are waiting for you inside.
The firbolg waves at them. "We are axles. On your side."

Gruntor follows along, trying to note any differences between the legion here and where they came from...
The hobgoblin waves his hand.
"Yes, yes. So why have auxilla come to this outpost? We do not often see people voluteering into the tunnels."

“Sure, that is why we are here. What kind of problem troubles you? What can you tell us?”

The firbolg considers what they know about these creatures, and whether he saw any trace of them in the caves he called home.

You know that cave fishers are nasty mas-sized scorpion-spider like creatures, that like to opportunistically ambush any humanoid in caves.
Nasaar will consider if he knows anything about them as well... Nature: 18
"Sounds like fun." Nasaar says as he recalls the cave fishers. "Any sourt of bounty on them, or just normal pay?"
