The human does not seem excessively hurt by the hits, and they barely draw blood. He retaliates by picking up some small rocks from the ground and throwing them in a lazy fashion a the party.

Ther human is seems to have noticed these attacks, but does not seem to be significantly injured. The previous slashes have started to fade on his skin already.

Nasaar lifts a hand, sending a series of magical blasts of flame at the human. scorching ray Ray 1 to hit is 18, damage is 10. Ray 2 misses, to hit was 10. Ray 3 to hit is 26, damage is 3.
His canon then blasts as well... Force canon to hit is 17. Damage is 11 force.

The firebolg grunts as the blows land, and it's time to stop messing around, the human seems to be in earnest. He calls Narancala forth, where here flames won't wash over his companions (DC 16 DEX Save or 11 fire damage).
He calls up a gout of flame and steps into it (healing spirit for 6 HP).

Although the a number of accurate attacks was launched at the human, only a single scorching ray and the force cannon are solid hits. Still the damage does appear to be building up.
The human retaliates with a flurry of stones at Nasaar, and punches at Fire-bolg and Gruntor

Gruntor leaps with glee at the human. Swinging his blade and axe in a whirlwind of attempts

(note, the forum dice roller is a bit whack. My original roles were two 20 odds for only 14 damage and 6 bonus damage. The third hit roll was an 11. )
