Gruntor closes one eye and gives the bat look. He doesn't speak bat so has no idea what Leesha is saying. He turns to Shun and whispers. "Your girlfriend speaks bat"
Leesha, you know fiends are treacherous by nature, though they can be coerced into temporary contracts. Devils will obey the any formal agreement to the letter, while demons are only controlled to a limited extent by the contract spell and will likely wreak havok as soon as the spell weakens.
Shun crooks an eyebrow at Gruntor when he mentions 'girlfriend' again, but he doesn't take the bait. He steps into the room. "So no bat. Trap. What else is in here?"
He looks around. Anything notable? Any exits? He's not above ransacking for anything useful.
The creature responds,
"Poor weak me has been trapped here ever since the hobgoblins left. Maybe they forgot about me".
Leesha will respond to it,
"Why did the hobgoblins cage you?"
"Caged me, yes, tested spells on me."
Leesha asks,
"What would you offer in exchange for your freedom fiend?"
"I am just a weak little thing. Perhaps you would like the great spell scroll and artifact that these hobgoblin left behind. I saw them hide it!"
Gruntor closes one eye and gives the bat look. He doesn't speak bat so has no idea what Leesha is saying. He turns to Shun and whispers. "Your girlfriend speaks bat"
Leesha pauses.
Insight: 7
"I'm listening. Details here will help you your case."
She'll then say in common,
"The bat is offering a prize for it's release."
What's specifically is the insight for?
((To see if the bat was lying about what it could offer for its freedom.))
The fiend is extremely dishonest.
"It's almost certainly lying but maybe I can get something useful from it."
Leesha ponders on how best to insure the fiends temporary cooperation.
Arcana: 16

Leesha sighs and informs the bugbears,
"Leave the bat in its cage. It is a trap, or as good as one."
Gruntor will check through the rest of the junk to see if he sees anything useful.
investigation 1
Gruntor finds some weird broken red rocks scattered on the ground in the far end of the room.
Shun crooks an eyebrow at Gruntor when he mentions 'girlfriend' again, but he doesn't take the bait. He steps into the room. "So no bat. Trap. What else is in here?"
He looks around. Anything notable? Any exits? He's not above ransacking for anything useful.
Gruntor picks up the rocks for a closer looks. "Hey, I founds some red rocks"
"Rocks?"
Leesha looks around the pair at the rocks, anything special or magical about them?
Arcana: 15
There is a lingering trace of magic in these rocks, and a trace of blood.
Shun's detect magic spell should be running still, so he takes a look at the room for emanations and auras.
"What we try to find here? Used to know, but not now," he says to the group.
