Vrakskan glances in Nasaar's direction, but says nothing. His grumbling from earlier seems to have picked his curiosity if only for a brief moment. He also waits for the centurion to answer him before speaking.
"Despicable they are, yes" He says to the centurion, agreeing with his choice of words. "If we let them win, they'll destroy everything. That's why we have to destroy them first."
He stares into the centurion's eye, expression unreadable. "Wouldn't you agree?"
"These are members of the human holy orders. Servants of their treacherous gods. Based on the stripe colors, low-ranked ones, but still their presence deep in our lands means they mean war."
Responding to Vraskan.
"I do not disagree. But as I said, returning both legions under a single command will not be easy. Even restoring full central control over the outposts will be a challenge."
"You speak of these outlying outposts, I believe we should focus on bringing these points back to the fold. That should solidify our standing," Serit says as he picks his teeth.
"You speak of these outlying outposts, I believe we should focus on bringing these points back to the fold. That should solidify our standing," Serit says as he picks his teeth.
"Doing this will certainly be give you much merit and help our cause"
Serit turns to Firbolg with a shrug, "We persuade them. Perhaps by deeds or fear. Everyone is afraid of something, finding theirs is key to bringing them back." His eyes suggest he knows a thing or two of fear but his face has that customary bored look.
"Let's find something to eat and find out where we need to head." He oats his stomach, breaking the look and back to his lazy self.
The firbolg gives a truly unsettling scowl, his burned flesh twisting. He raises his hand under his chin, flames bursting forth and licking up his face.
Speaking through the flickering flame, he rumbles,
"GET IN LINE, OR GET BURNED."
"Like that?"

Vrakskan shakes his head. "Too violent, dear ixen. If there is a more peaceful way of making them see reason, I'd gladly take it" He says, referring to the firbolg with the draconic word for 'fire'. He sighs. "...But if there's no other way, I'll help however I can. I've been told I'm quite intimidating."

“All nice and good to bring the outposts back into a central chain of command. But wouldn’t it be better if we had a commander in chief first?” Gara adds to the discussion.
"You are correct. Deeds or proof of superiority can get get obedience. But remember: the method you use must be agreed by both parties. In the past the fortress tried to restore control by force, marching an overwhelming army to each oupost. It worked, but only for a short while, with the outposts growing independent again eventually."
Responding to Gara:
"But who would be the commander in chief? Both legates consider themselves equals, and neither would want to be subordinate to the other".
"I suppose that the answer is yes" Vrakskan says, hoping that this is not a decision they'll all regret. He doesn't know what this 'auxilla' thing means yet, after all.
He turns to the others. "We can discuss this... leadership issue later. For now, we'll join you. I'm here to help however I can."

"Don't look to me." Nasaar says with a anoyed grunt. "I am not leadership material."
Gruntor nods at the conversation. "Maybe we helps them and they will be friends. Maybies."
"So, will you join the legion as auxilla?"
Nasaar continues lounging against the closest wall, and would not answer until after his companions do so.
"Seems to be the fastest way we get this done. Sign us up lad," Serit says in a lazy tone.

Nasaar was about to step forward, but the last question had him pausing and glancing to his kin.
