Back when Heavy Plating was a thing? There was a lot of RAW debate about that, but the author clarified in a tweet that it was intended to count as wearing armor, for the purpose of things like Martial Arts or defensive fighting style. So if you're still using that version, yes, it's wearing armor probably.
Back in the UA, it was RAI, but no RAW. RAW it was unarmored defence, same as Tortle's.
When it was officially printed, the feature had changed. I believe the consensus for the new feature is that Integrated armor counts as wearing. I agree with that, but there may be some that don't.

I was looking at warforged and i was just wondering if The Warforged integrated protection(Heavy Plating) Counted as armor?
