Can you use the Green Flame Blade cantrip with the Soulknife Rogue's Psychic Blade? (As a melee weapon.)
Or do you need to use an actual melee weapon for the cantrip to activate?
Sort of bonus question; If you use a Rapier or a Short Sword for your attack as a Soulknife, can you use the D4 bonus action attack psychic blade?
Psychic blades don't behave normally with almost any other game mechanics that interact with blades - you should generally assume the answer to questions like this is no, if you ever find yourself in any sort of confusing rules area. For example, none of the spells that can magically buff a weapon can normally magically buff a psychic blade, because the blade doesn't exist when the spell is cast, and even if you use Ready or Quickened Spell to manage it, the blade evaporates after landing, so it'll only be up for one attack. Soulknives are far more functional if they carry a variety of real weapons on their person.
"Soulknife Psychic Blade and ______?" questions almost always result in "no," it's a very inflexible feature.
Psychic Blade and Extra Attack to throw more blades? No, one blade per Attack, and one as a Bonus.
Psychic Blade and Echo Knight Unleash Incarnation? No, because even if your Echo manifests the same blade you do, it still goes away after one attack.
Psychic Blade and Two-Weapon Fighting? No, because only one blade manifested at a time, even though they need to be manifested in different hands. (But, Psychic Blade itself is generally superior to TWF).
Psychic Blade and a Shield? Not if you want that Bonus Action throw, because it needs to be the "other hand."
Psychic Blade and BB/GFB? No, because it doesn't have a cost, and because it doesn't exist until you take the Attack action, which usually means you aren't using GFB (Bladesingers can take the Attack action with GFB, but again, cost restriction is a problem).
Psychic Blade and Opportunity Attack? No, because it only exists while you're making an attack on your own turn with Attack action, not off-turn.
Psychic Blade and Hexblade, Pact of the Blade, or Monk's Dedicated Weapon option? No, because it only exists while you're making an attack, not during a rest.
Those are what come to mind off the top of my head, but there's no shortage of features that don't work with Psychic Blade. It's a very uncreative class feature, honestly, it's got it's intended use case (a pure rogue without Extra Attack who doesn't hold any other equipment in their hands), and really doesn't care to make itself available for anything else.
Seems as though taking the Fighting Initiate Feat and using Thrown Weapon Fighting style would work to give both the attack and bonus attack Psychic Blades +2 to the damage roll correct?

Ok asked my DM and he said no on GFB and Psychic Blades which makes sense.
Your DM is right. Because of an errata, GFB/BB no longer work with weapons conjured by magic.
And no, psychic blades requires you to attack with them as an action and have both hands empty to use the bonus action.
Even with the old version of the spell, you can't do this. You need to take the Attack action to even manifest the blade in the first place.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
Cheers all for the responses.
