Can you try to hide from a creature grappling you?
No. Under no circumstances is that possible.
Even if you are Invisible, because they still have physical contact with your char. I have NEVER seen a player try this, or heard of a player trying this. You can be Grappled, and Invisible, and be attacked at Disadvantage under those conditions, but no, you can't Hide.
You could totally do it.
They'd need to be unable to feel, though, from physical contact. Or, at least, feel in a way that was unreliable.
Sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste... those are the standard 5. Your enemy might have others, but if you can fool all of those 5+, yeah, regardless of the other circumstances, if you can take an Action to Hide, you can do so.
The physical contact, thus sense of touch, is in 99.999999% of circumstances going to get you caught up in the grapple scenario.
Could it happen? Sure.
What if it was a a grapple in the middle of a silenced fog cloud of numbing? Then, yeah, might work.

I'm probably laughing.
It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
