So, I think I already know the answer to this question, but I'm curious if others rule it differently.
The Eldritch Adept Feat says "If the invocation has a prerequisite of any kind, you can choose that invocation only if you're a warlock who meets the prerequisite."
At first glance, I assumed this was referring to prereqs like "level 5" or "pact of the blade" but I got to thinking about Eldritch blast and agonizing blast.
Agonizing blast has a prereq of "Eldritch blast". And while a a class other than warlock can meet that prereq (such as a sorcerer with the magic initiate feat) they wouldn't be a "Warlock who meets that prerequisite" So they couldn't choose agonizing blast as part of Eldritch Adept unless they at least have a little bit of a warlock splash correct?
Cool, so if a player wants to try to run the Sorlock Eldritch blast machine gun, they can't skip out on multiclassing warlock by using feats!
Yeah, that does seem to be the deliberate intent of the wording of the feat... probably to avoid that one specific combo primarily, but that's just an assumption on my part. I think WoTC put a lot of effort to make sure that only proper Warlocks can ever enjoy the full benefits possible with Eldritch Blast.

That is how I would interpret the wording, and how it appears to be coded by DDB as well.
Yup, it's any prerequisite.

Correct, basically with Eldritch Adept, non-Warlock can only select Invocations that have no prerequisit.
