Hi everyone, i have a very precise question, lets say im a necromancy wizard, lv20, i can take control of a ghost with the necromancy school, and the ghost can possess a humanoid, i can cast simulacrum and make the ghost possess the simulacrum right ? So, beacause a simulacrum can make me loose wish if he use it, or if he attune to an item this ittem is attuned to me, does this still apply if he is possessed by the ghost? The ghost i control, could , not me , but the ghost cast wish, beacause its what i order him, i won't suffer stress as the only thing the caster and i have in common is a very resemblant body ?
A simulacrum can be affected as a normal creature, which is what Polymorph can target.
But since Polymorph's new form is a beast, a ghost can't still possess it.
In addition, a polymorphed or true polymorphed simulacrum would not have access to the Wish spell in order to cast it.
A shapechanged simulacrum could retain a Wish spell - however, shapechange is self only and is also a level 9 spell so a shapechanged simulacrum would also no longer have a 9th level slot to cast wish.
I'm not sure there is a loophole there to be used.
Thx for all of your reply again, but i don't want to abuse wish
If i true polymorph i can transform any creature in any creatire, so my simulacrum in a commoner for example and then i stop concentrating of the spell once the ghost has possesed the commoner, so it revert to a construct simulacrum no ?

I believe a ghost cannot possess a simulacrum because ghost possess humanoids, and simulacrum are construct.
Thanks for your answer !
And if i polymorph it ?

Even if the ghost could possess the simulacrum, the 'Spellcasting' feature is a class feature, so the ghost doesn't have access to it.
Ok thanks for your time !
