Not sure how many folks have taken a look at the Strixhaven Tracking Sheet in the book (Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos), but I've got a question about it.
I get how each year of study (each adventure) has three exams you must pass. I get that each exam has a Study phase which can earn you rerolls to pass the exam, and I understand how each exam can grant you Student Dice (d4s) to bolster later skill checks. However, I get confused as to why there are three Student Dice boxes for Year 2 Exam #3, and why there are three Reroll boxes for Year 3 Exam #2.
After reading through the exams, I see that there is a way to earn three Student Dice from Year 2 Exam #3, which explains the three boxes there. I still don't see why there are three Reroll boxes on Year 3 Exam #2. This exam also features a way to earn three Student Dice, but has only two Student Dice boxes on the tracker sheet.
It may have been an oversight. It’s a new book and things sometimes need to get polished up a bit more after release. There’s a creature with legendary actions that lists “claw” as an option without detailing the action anywhere else in the stat block, not even under their basic actions.
I don't understand why there are four check boxes for each of the year 1 exams. Are two for the studying phase and two for the testing phase? I thought the studying phase was only one roll.
Yes, two are for the Studying Phase and two are for the Exam phase. I take it you already know there are two rolls with set Skills and DCs to be used in the Exam Phase. If you look in the book under Ch. 3: School Is in Session --> Exams --> Studying Phase, you'll find a subsection titled "Pulling an All-Nighter", which states that if students pull an all-nighter to study they gain two rerolls for the exam phase, but also gain 1 point of exhaustion.

Is it a mistake, or am I missing something?
