How large of batches would crafting a magic piece of ammunition create? The books are pretty vague- or just nonspecific- about magic ammo quantities when found or bought. Mundane arrows are bought in batches, and starting equipment is in batches. Would crafting create only one magic arrow, or a batch of, say, 20, like 3e did. A batch would make sense, and at consumable rates, so half the gold. For example, the +1 Arrow is uncommon, so crafting is 500 gp, divided by 2 since it’s consumable. That’s 250 gp to craft a +1 arrow. For a normal character (not an artificer) that’s 10 days to make one arrow, or 10 days to make a batch. The batch makes sense, but I want input here, if y’all don’t mind.
Agree with Plaguescarred here, the description of Ammunition, +1 says piece of ammunition, not pieces. Also, the Magic Item Crafting Time and Cost in XGtE shows Uncommon as 2 workweeks and 200GP. So consumables would require 1 workweek and 100GP per item.
DMs can run this as they see fit, but that's what I take away from this.

Arrows aren't created in batch unless the DM decides otherwise, so you create a single magic item: ammunition per crafting.
