I have a player planning on playing a Blood Hunter with a two-weapon fighting style. Since Crimson Rite is a bonus action, can my player not invoke the rite AND attack with his second equipped weapon in one round?
My reading of the rules would say no, one bonus action per turn, but I wanted to ask for opinions.
That is correct. He can either activate the rite, or get an offhand attack, not both. Also worth noting is that he can not activate the rite on both weapons on the same turn since it takes a bonus action for each weapon.
