When think about artificers, I want to play a Leonin to see if is possible to use infuse a regular weapon with magical tinkering to play Daunting Roar every time you swing it to attack and active their effect of fright enemies on a failed WIS saving throw. Is it permitted because te roar is a sound?
Similarly, when you point a camera at the sun, you get a picture of a bright light, but playing that picture back on a TV will not blind you as if you were looking directly into the sun.

That's not how the rules work.
And if you think about it, is a recorded lion roar as terrifying as a roar in person?
You get the sound, not the effect.
