So, I was reading the Brand of Sundering feature for Ghost Slayer blood hunters, and I think I noticed a typo? I've put the text I'm confused by in bold.
Starting at 11th level, your Brand of Castigation exposes a fragment of your foe’s essence, leaving them vulnerable to your Crimson Rite feature. Whenever you hit a creature with a weapon for which you have an active crimson rite, you roll an additional hemocraft die when determining the extra damage from the rite. Additionally, if a branded creature has the Incorporeal Movement trait or a similar feature, it can’t move through creatures or objects while branded.
The text doesn't say that the target needs to be branded to deal the additional hemocraft die of damage, but the name of the ability suggests that should be the case. Does this mean all of my crimson rites now add two rolls of my hemocraft die as damage? Let me know if I'm confused. Thanks!
I'm not exactly sure what the question is here. Doesn't the quoted text just add a hemocraft die to any attack you make with a weapon with an active crimson rite and separately make an additional change to the effect of branding a creature?

Yes. But the fluff text says it is a buff to your brand, so why is the rite dealing more damage to every creature? That is the cause of the confusion.

I think it states it in a past tense form so yes that might be a phrasing error, so just add the additional hemocraft dice after branded.
Blood hunter is full of typos. Because if that (and the fact that it isn't even RAW), I usually just tell people to run it how it makes most sense.

Yea and all the other Brand features only work on creatures that are branded.
The first part of that feature really should have been worded "Whenever you hit a branded creature with a weapon" to make sense.
