I want my character to be able to send the bodies and equipment of fallen combatants to locations elsewhere on the map beyond normal travel limitations.
I'm thinking of some kind of transportation rune that could be drawn on the item, out in the wilds and when a battle is finished or not in progress, so that it could teleport conveniently to the desired location (for sensitive items) or for pick up and delivery by a postal service.
Does anything currently exist in the D&D books for this? A spell or item of some sort, perhaps?
Thanks ~

Teleporting objects can be managed from a relatively low level using items such as a bag of holding, which an Artificer can infuse, and a level 1 Genie Warlock has a similar-but-different item that can be used with more severe limitations, but the problem for your purposes is that you'll need a method for the recipient to access the demiplane inside your bag, which requires a spell like teleportation circle (and that spell specifically requires your DM to agree that the bag's interior space is wide enough for a circle that wide). Plane Shift and Teleport are necessary for generically doing what you're describing with a spell and no item support (you can also use Plane Shift to access a bag of holding), and Demiplane is very similar to having a Genie Warlock vessel as a spell. Gate is technically too weak for what you're describing because it's mandatory that Gate change planes, but it would be a bit weird if you had access to Gate for your DM to refuse to let you develop an alternate spell that instead restricts you to the same plane.
Secret Chest will work with the caveat that every 60 days you need to re-up it or risk catastrophe. You'll need a partner to act as a recipient. You cast it, then retrieve the chest, then your partner casts on the same chest, and now both of you can swap the chest between where you are and the Ethereal Plane. Rules for making scrolls of secret chest are in Xanathar's, if your partner needs to know the spell and doesn't, and Tasha's has rules for a spellcasting sidekick if necessary, and the PHB offers laughably cheap prices for hiring a spellcasting mercenary.

7th Level Teleportation spell would come to my mind.
Teleportation magic for long distances is rather high level.
I see, thank you!

Very kind of you, thank you, some great inspiration there!
