Hey so I'm a new player, and I'm about to be a 3rd level Goliath Rune Knight. I'm wondering if the rune effects can stack at some point? Like once the effects become permanent on the item, if I remove the rune, does that mean I can imbue it again with the same rune effect to double the effect? Like being able to use it x-amount of times or doubling the power? And does this apply if the same rune is on two different items? Can I theoretically put every available rune on every piece of armor and gear and quadruple+ the effects? I'm genuinely curious and trying to figure out how this would work.
By 10th level, the magic of your runes permanently alters you. When you gain this feature, roll 3d4. You grow a number of inches in height equal to the roll.
Moreover, the extra damage you deal with your Giant's Might feature increases to 1d8.
That only means your character's physical height increases. So if they're 6' tall, they can become anywhere from 6'3" to 7' tall. It's mainly a flavor thing, though you could argue that in some cases a small character gaining close to an extra foot in height might push them into medium size.
As it says, your Giant's Might feature also deals 1d8 damage instead of 1d6, as well.
How your runes function is totally unaffected. The runes "permanently altering" you refers specifically to the increase in height. If the intention was that you could remove your runes and still retain their effects, the text would explicitly state as much.

Nothing about that has any effect on the runes you can inscribe on your gear. If you look at the text of your Level 3 ability - "Your rune remains on an object until you finish a long rest, and an object can bear only one of your runes at a time." Nothing about them is permanent, and that does not change as you level up.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the effects never become permanent on an item.
It's the Great Stature. The exact wording is:
