I was just having some fun toying with different multiclass builds. I made a Paladin 2/Fighter 2, and just for kicks, picked dueling for both classes fighting styles and noticed they in fact stack. Is this supposed to be how it works? With 16 STR, a longsword with dueling is 1d8+5, but with a second fighting style set to dueling I'm seeing 1d8+7 on my character sheet.
Ah I see. You can make the selection when you create a character like that on the site so I guess it's a bug? They'll need to grey one out from the other if that is possible on their end.
Well, yes, I suppose we can consider it a bug. However, it is a very edge case. It has been reported in the past, so I think sooner or later it will get fixed.
Hey there,

The Fighting Style description says: "You can’t take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again."

still not fixed... I found this thread because I noticed the same thing and was wondering if it was a bug or just weird RAW.
Might be worth reporting again then, the dev team's gone through some hefty changes in the last 4 years I believe.
