So my wife and I were listening to the "Caverns & Creatures" series and when we were listening to one of the parts dealing with wererats, she asked me a question that stumped me, thoroughly.
Do lycanthropes need to breath? If so, does that mean they can drown? If so, does that mean that if someone grappled a wererat in a sewer and held them under the sewer water, that they could kill the wererat without silver or magic?
Anyone know if & how this would work (and obviously this wouldn't work on any of those exotic "were-amphibions" like a wereshark or other underwater lycanthropes)? Also, if it wouldn't work, please tell me why.

Yes, they need to breath. Yes ,you can drown them.
But good luck. If they have to opportunity to hold their breath, you will have to endure 11-34 rounds of it struggling and attacking you.
