I have a player in my group with the Feat, Sentinel. The large monstrosity that they encounter had an legendary action Move, this action allows the monster to move up yo there speed without provoking an opportunity attacks. So my question is can the player with Sentinel get an opportunity attack?

No, they would not. Any feature that grants opportunity attacks cannot trigger on a Legendary Action move.
Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach.
So the Sentinel feat is specific about overriding the "Disengage" action. If the Legendary Action Movement specifically states that it it enacted as if the "Disengage" action was taken, then the Sentinel feat would allow an Opportunity attack. If the Legendary action doesn't mention the "Disengage" action as a basis for how it avoids Opportunity attacks, then the Sentinel feat will not apply.
NOTE: that if you have a readied action to attack on movement somehow then this would not be countered by a Legendary Action which specifically disallows "Opportunity Attacks".

There are non-legendary abilities that also bypass sentinel, such as the flyby monster power and the mobile feat.
