So major thing that came up. Zone of truth was used to interrogate one of my guys and its one of those "centered on a point of your choice within range" things. So here is the difficult part. Can it be cast on to a person or something that person is wearing so its forced to follow them around? Or is it cast in the spot of the room so it creates an actual zone. My players all admit to using it to cast on clothing so they cant escape from it. Like with that wording it brings up so many more questions but i want to tackle this one first.
A point is a fixed position on the map, not an object or creature. Unless the spell description specifies otherwise, the AoE emanating from that point is static. Zone of Truth is for when someone is either voluntarily testifying or has been apprehended and is being interrogated.
