If I have a legendary creature that uses True Polymorph on itself to become another legendary creature, does the new form get a brand new set of legendary resistances?
So I don't think there is anything RAW. For me as a DM If it was a legendary monster morphing into another legendary monster I would say since they both have that ability they do not gain more uses of it.
Example. If I was a ancient gold dragon and used 3 legendary resists then got changed into a ancient black dragon some how I would not gain those back since my original form had the same ability and used it.
That is just my take since there are critters that can shape change at will and could just keep changing to keep getting legendary resists.
Long and short DM call, but legendary resists are pretty big and if done that way could be abused.
I don't see any indication that the number would stay consistent, so, considering it's a new feature on a new statblock, I don't see why the number of uses would carry over, especially since some monsters can have up to 5 legendary resistances. I'd say the number of legendary resistances is different per form, just like hit points and spell slots.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

The target’s game statistics, including mental ability scores, are replaced by the statistics of the new form. It retains its alignment and personality.
...makes me think it gets a new set of legendary resistances as it becomes the new creature. But then again, this is going to be the DM doing it, so even if RAW doesn't provide for it, DM's gonna do what DM's gonna do :)

Not really a fan of it, but the line:
