If i took the dragon shard out of one warforged and put it into another would the warforged keep its personalitty in its new form or would it be a differnet warforged?
Being that everything I'm reading it sounds like it would be the equivalent of there heart, it would be like a heart transplant and not a brain transplant. I can be wrong and someone may know better then I do.
There's no stated 5e rule for this, so it'd fall into the realm of DM fiat and what the story allows for your campaign. If you're a player, ask your DM. If you're the DM, then do whichever makes for the better story.
