Hi all! If a monster has poison immunity and the player who attacks it roll a critical hit with a poison weapon, does it hit the monster or does this immunity always win over a critical hit ? Thanks!
Immunity trumps everything unless a feature has specific language to the contrary. In this case your basic PSB damage die would be rolled twice, but the poison damage will not be applied.
Immunity negates damage of a specific type. It does not negate attacks. The attack still happens, it is a critical hit, and the creature still takes any damage from the attack that isn't poison. Any features/abilities that activate on hit or crit also still happen.

Thank you!
You still do the damage from the weapon at critical. You just ignore the poison.
