How high can a broom of flying go?
I know distance is 50ft. But I want to know how far can you go up!
One of my players wants to fly to the top of a tower so I need to know this Thank you!
Assuming a creature with comparable to a healthy human anatomy on a near earth environment realistically you could go up to 20,000 feet.
Past that you'd need magic protections to deal with the environment (IE lack of air/exposure).
The broom itself of course could concievably fly into outer space if you wanted.

There's no listed limit on altitude, so there's no limit on altitude

Unless you're a race that doesn't breathe, like Warforged.
I mean... you could. You'd also be in trouble if you ran into any of the creatures that don't need to breathe and live in space if you didn't have a spelljammer on standby.
Thanks for the info. I allowed fly speed up. So they can go up 50 ft at a time. I really love this community.
