Out of curiosity, how would you rule attaching a 'cuddly strixhaven mascot' to another creature. Specifically to their face. Specifically with a bead from the necklace of fireballs taped to it.
Purely theoretical. Was thinking of ways to unnecessarily complicate artificer for style points (so far my buddy and I have come up with the patented shark-sword with druids and enlarde/reduce)

I would say that called shots aren't allowed.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
