So this has come up in my game recently. The spells range says "Hemisphere" so unless they changed hemisphere to dome it has a floor.
The spell does a poor job by saying 10' radius dome which misleads people. A hemisphere does have a dome as well as a bottom. Its geometry. If it had no floor its called a dome or capped hemisphere.
My question is with Etherealness , Leomund's Tiny Hut states:
- All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. (Does this just simply mean physically).
- Spells and other magical effects can't extend through this dome (should say hemisphere) or be cast through it. (This sounds like including Etherealness).
This leads me to believe ethereal creatures cannot pass though. So Leomund's Tiny Hut a (3rd level) spell is more powerful then Forcecage (7th level) and Wall of Force (5th level) because of duration. Mind you those spells specifically state they block Ethereal while Leomund's Tiny Hut does not specifically say so. Now mind you, you can customize the area a bit more with the high level Force spells.
Thanks for listening,

Good to know. I will change my interpretation.
