So, I play an elf rogue, but i want to multi class soon, and I'm trying to decide what to multi class in. I was thinking warlock, but I didn't like the different patrons I can choose from in the Player's Handbook. I thought, what if I become a sith apprentice, and instead of spells I have the force. Would there be any rules against it, and couldn't I just use, like, the levitate spell at will, and I couldn't use it till I short rest or something?
Talk to your DM. What you’re describing would take some homebrewing to pull off. Or go for a psi warrior fighter. That’s about as close as you can get RAW to a Jedi/Sith.
I mean, Palpatine never really gave any power away save for maybe hereditarily, so it really doesn’t fit the role of a patron in that regaurd.
mot arguments I have heard define Jedi as either Paladins (4-6) or monks (1-3), and I have heard Vader described as a Fallen Paladin of sorts. Neither of those are directly associated with Warlocks. Maybe Hexblades?
That being said, it’s not really hard to imagine a way or reality where force powers could be projected. There are certainly plenty of powers to choose from: levitation, call lightning, etc. I say look through the list of DnD spells, pick some out and go for it!
Not sure what to tell you about other powers/abilities though. Mayne heightened senses?
