Hi, I'm currently playing an 11th level Totem Warrior Barbarian.
The 6th level Feature, Aspect of the Beast (Bear) provides the following benefit: "Your carrying capacity (including maximum load and maximum lift) is doubled, and you have advantage on Strength checks made to push, pull, lift, or break objects."
Should this mechanic also be extended to include advantage on Strength Saving Throws?

I don't think so, as ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws are three different d20 rolls, each separate from the others.
I agree with tarodnet it should not, ability check and saving throw are different things.
