Hey everyone! Had an idea for a Hexblood Shifter character and was wondering how the lineage/racial stuff works. Does the Racial Shift still work? Does the Hexblood stuff just get added on? Am I completely wrong and the Hexblood count as a full race? Any advice or info will be much appreciated! 😁👍
As I understand it, no. The only element of your former race that you can keep are the movement speeds and skill proficiencies. You are no longer are Shifter and do not count as such for any purposes, including feats or magical items. For example, if a Hexblood Dwarf attuned to the Axe of the Dwarvish Lords would not receive the Blessing of Moradin effects.
Thanks for the response. I figured that was the case. Just wanted to make sure as a few of the DnD campigns I watch/listen to, have some dhamphir and hexblood characters that have extra stuff from the original race they were part of.

Edit: grammar is hard when tired.
How to add Tooltips.
