You can summon a nature spirit that assumes an animal form to aid you. As a Magic action, you can expend a spell slot or a use of Wild Shape to cast the Find Familiar spell without Material components.
When you cast the spell in this way, the familiar is Fey and disappears when you finish a Long Rest.
Would it be possible to use the ritual option of Find Familiar to cast the spell this way?
To elaborate, you do not have this spell prepared because the feature doesn’t tell you that you do, and having the spell prepared is required to use the ritual casting feature. “To cast a spell as a Ritual, a spellcaster must have it prepared.”
You could possibly prepare the spell in a number of ways and then ritually cast it (like feats or multiclassing).
When I look up Find Familiar directly it shows a one-hour casting time. But on my Druid when I click on the spell it says 1 action. Is that because Wild Companion takes 1 Magic Action?

No. The feature tells you that you use a Magic action and expend a spell slot or wildshape use.
