I confess i'm at Lost with the push condition "if it is Large or smaller".
So medium size Can push a ant and a dragon but not another M size ?
However a ant can push M size ?

What's the point of this condition?


Same thing for the giant species "Hill’s Tumble (Hill Giant). When you hit a Large or smaller creature with an attack roll and deal damage to it, you can give that target the Prone condition."

However, the shield master feat can.

Any explanation about it ?


Note : I'm french so I may miss the correct meaning.

"Large or smaller" means the following sizes: large, medium, small and tiny
You could express it as: =<large

And yes, the shield master (2024) feat does not have that limitation, so it works on all sizes: gargantuan, huge, large, medium, small and tiny.
