No one here has anything against open discourse. What people do object to is poorly worded and misleading accusations and irrelevant information added where it doesn't help understanding.

The thread had a clear, and situationally limited, question which got two clear, correct and relevant answers. Then there was nothing for 15 months and then you happened.

Really the best thing for the thread would be if everything posted in the last 24h was deleted and it was left as it was. And if you feel the need to discuss other situations than the one this thread is about then you you are welcome in any of the other threads that do discuss those situations.
