So I feel like this is going to end up making me feel stupid in the end, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out where I am getting the proficiency in Persuasion from in this character:
I am purposefully trying to make my charisma skills low, and not have much use out of charisma, ultimately it doesn't *really* matter if I am proficient in persuasion, but just personally I feel like my whole shtick as character flavor is going to be that I'm not all that charismatic so it just kinda annoys me that my character will get proficiency in it.
I am a Cleric 8 / Sorcerer 2. I realize that Persuasion is one of the choices available to Clerics for their initial proficiencies, but I have selected Insight, and Religion as the two skills to get proficiency. There's no part of the Spring Eladrin that I am seeing that makes me proficient in persuasion. My "background" is a Sage, which does not give me Persuasion proficiency, and multi-classing into a Sorcerer tells me explicitly that I haven't gained any new proficiencies, so I'm just stumped as to how I'm getting it.
I know that I can just do the customizations and turn off proficiency and all that, but would love to get to the bottom of it anyways just for my own sanity.
P.S. I am aware that my charisma score is too low to technically multiclass into sorcerer but that's all been cleared by the DM.
