Hi everyone! first things first, English is not my first language, please excuse all the mistakes and inconsistencies.
Reading trough the player's handbook, more specifically the Arcane Trickster, I saw that the "lockpicking and trap disarming" part of mage hand legerdemain is simply... Gone!
Is it correct to assume that now you can't do neither of those action with this class feature?
The description of Mage Hand Legerdemain says you can make Sleight of Hand checks, which covers usage of Thieves Tools under the 2024 rules (see the entry for Equipment > Lock).
Just to expand on what Stabbey said, there's a general theme in the 2024 updates of removing redundant text from the books. If it looks like something's been removed, double check all the other things it's referring to because it may just be that they've removed a redundant sentence without actually changing the rules.
And, for the record, your English is perfectly understandable.
