I have a sorcerer player who'd like to multiclass with paladin. I see that there are prerequisites and that he needs 13 or more in the primary ability of the targeted class.
Primary ability for the paladin are Strength AND charisma. Does he needs 13 in both ?
Thanks for your reading :)

Phileas Deluor, half-elf mage lvl5 - ToA Alastar Lekto, human paladin of Kelemvor lvl 3 - Homemade campaign Fizz, Kenku rogue/cleric lvl 8 - Rise of the Runelord (5e ed. homemade) Bolgo "The dentist", Human warrior, lvl 5 - Waterdeep Dragon Heist
Most classes only have 1 primary ability. Rangers, Monks, and Paladins all have two required ability scores. Fighters are unique in that they have two primary abilities, but they are listed as Strength OR Dexterity. They are the only class that gets to choose which will be their primary ability. The other three classes have to have 13 in both scores.

Yes, you have to have 13+ in the primary stats of all classes you multiclass. So Sorc+Pal would be STR and CHA
