Gloves of missile snaring

I received Gloves of missile snaring +1 from my DM and want to confirm if they actual have any impact on my AC. I can't find anything about a +1 version and was wondering if it was just for flavor. 

They're not an official item. Ask your DM.

For a bit of insight, though, if I were the DM, they'd grant a +1 bonus to the effect on them.

Your DM may have homebrewed Gloves of Missile Snaring +1 with which you have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with them, like a magic weapon?

 I would think that it is a bonus +1 to AC for missile attacks, but your DM would need to let you know.
