Lizardfolk with Nick weapon mastery

Hi,
A Lizardfolk character with Light weapons in hand, attack in a Main Action with a Nick mastery Weapon and uses the extra attack from the Nick, then can he use te available Bonus Action to the Hungry Jaws Lizardfolk ability? Or he can't because its an attack ability?

He can use Hungry Jaws on a turn if he doesn't use his Bonus Action for something else (and only PB number of times per LR). Whatever other things he does with his movement, Action or Reaction is irrelevant.

Hungry Jaws is a bonus action so completely legit.
