I've been comparing some of the stat blocks in Fizban's to those in the new Monster Manual, trying to figure out if they're now underpowered and need adjustments or if they'll still work fine.
Based on a quick "vibes" comparison, I think that they mostly look good, maybe just use higher-than-average HP or damage. But I was curious if anyone had tested this in actual play or done the math on it.
If so, what do you think? Do Fizban's and Bigby's monsters still hold their own against 2024 characters, or are they a bit weak now?
In theory any monsters published after Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse should be on par to those published in the 2024 Monster Manual. It's been mentioned in interviews that the design tweaks showcases in the 2024 MM first began appearing in MotM.

Fizban's monsters are noticeably weaker than 2024 monsters, at least on paper.
