Er this class looks cool but I'm struggling a bit with learning the class. The book(s) (with upcoming Zaman and Ryoko) have like a list of pregen monsters to select but you don't get those, and you have a cr 1 monster but they have 1 hp which makes em kinda utterly useless to do anything with... um...
I am only a little familiar with Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting: Part 1, so I opened the book to take a look at the Class you are referring to and I do not see anything that refers to a "Tamer".
In the Classes and Feats section of the book, there are only Subclasses listed.
Are you looking at a different source book?

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.

You don't have to be asking about an option specifically on DDB to ask here. They're asking about the class featured in the full version of Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting, which DDB only has part of (hence it being Part 1)
