How do you get Dueling and Throwing Weapon Fighting Styles at the same time? Fighter x/Paladin 2?
Champion Fighters get another Fighting Style at level 7. Plus, any class with the Fighting Style feature can take another Fighting Style feat whenever they would normally get a feat. (This probably isn't worth it most of the time, but it's an option.)
Dueling requires holding a weapon; Thrown Weapon Fighting requires throwing it. They are mutually exclusive in use.

Not the question I was answering, but I would generally agree.

But when you are making the attack roll, you are holding it. You release it after the attack roll. (I mean, in practice, I'd probably say they were exclusive, but not for RAW reasons).

Technically, Thrown Weapon Fighting requires that you hit with a ranged attack with a weapon with the thrown property, not that you throw it. If you can somehow meet the criteria without throwing it, it still applies. If you can throw a weapon without holding it, I suppose you can make a ranged attack with a dagger without throwing it.
More importantly, does combining Dueling and Thrown Weapon Fighting make Grim Hollow's Thrown Weapon Master unbalanced? As I mentioned, earlier, it puts the unadjusted damage per dagger at 12.5, assuming a +5 attribute. Is this overpowered for the investment?

That's not actually stated anywhere. Regardless, when you are doing damage with it, you have thrown it (and it has hit) and are no longer holding it, and either fighting style only affects damage.

My houserulings.

I agree with kenclary. It wasn't my understanding before, but it is now after the conversation in Two-Weapon Fighting with Light Thrown Weapons (Darts, Daggers, Etc.)
